Corporate Recruiter, Manufacturing

Nidec Minster Corporation, an industry leader in the manufacturing of material forming presses in the United States is currently seeking a Corporate Recruiter, Manufacturing at our Minster, Ohio facility. Nidec Minster develops, manufactures, and markets quality metal forming equipment and provides machining, fabrication and assembly services to a diverse customer base.

Role Summary

The Corporate Recruiter will be an integral part of Nidec Minster Corporation's future by going beyond tactical recruitment and will serve as part of our talent acquisition team and help in carrying out our recruitment strategy. The well qualified candidate will be an outside-of-the-box thinker and doer, and can see a long-term talent vision while simultaneously executing daily full-cycle recruitment responsibilities.


Work Days Will Include:

  • Working closely with internal teams and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and ideal candidate profile
  • Developing and executing unique and effective sourcing strategies and techniques to generate diverse candidate pools
  • Developing recruitment strategies including job posting optimization, employer branding, job board procurement, talent planning etc.
  • Identifying future talent needs and proactively building relationships to build a network and talent pipeline
  • Developing and managing external partnerships with vendors, sourcing partners and/or agencies as needed
  • Executing the full-cycle recruitment process including initial assessments, interviews and offers
  • Providing counsel and guidance to hiring managers and your HR teammates about talent trends and recruitment/hiring best practices
  • Performing administrative tasks as needed such as interview scheduling, travel coordination etc.

Qualified Candidates' Background Includes:

  • Knowledge of the legal requirements related to recruiting and the employer-employee relationship normally acquired by (a) completing a bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, business or a related relevant field of study OR (b) achieving the designation of Professional in Human Resources ("PHR") from the Human Resources Certification Institute or equivalent, AND 3-5 years of demonstrated success in recruiting into a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Proven history of high-performing recruiting in a third party or corporate recruiting environment
  • Demonstrated capability using social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to use networks, centers of influence and innovative/cutting edge recruiting/sales tactics to identify, develop and recruit talent or customers
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Self-motivated, proactive, dynamic and resourceful, with a polished image
  • Passion for connecting talented candidates with excellent career opportunities
  • Strong research, sourcing and analytical skills with ability to dive deep into searches for hard-to-fill openings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage candidates by phone and email
  • Aptitude in assessing intangible aspects of candidates
  • Resourcefulness and creativity with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Track record of managing and prioritizing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
